Large Lollipop Wall Box, 18th. century

18th. Lollipop top wall box. Love this wall box, it has great form and construction. The wall box is circa late 18th. Century. The wood is Heartland Pine and indicates that this is most likely a Southern, American piece. The construction is with grand rosehead and square nails. The lollipop is truly magnificent and measures 6 1/4 inches in diameter. The wall box itself measures 16 1/2 inches tall by 6 x 5 1/2 inches at its widest part.

19th. c. painted Silhouettes of Husband and Wife

A lovely 19th. century painted silhouettes of Husband and Wife—Name Robinson. Done on paper painted profiles of John Robert Robinson and Mary Ann Robinson. Their names are inscribed above each portrait. Wonderful detail on both pieces. The paper has foxing. Truly authentic and all original. The overall size is 5 x 6 inches. Both have their original hanging rings but one was broken and attached to the back rather than the top. Difficult to take good photos of these, odd shapes noticed in the photos are reflections.

19th. c. Goose Neck Coffee Pot

A wonderful, early 19th. century goose necked coffee pot. The surface of the coffee pot is punched tin, decorated with Tulips and the base has a punched tin wiggle work chain decoration. I don’t see any holes or real damage to the pot other than what would be considered normal wear and tear. The pot appears to have an old black surface that I believe is a very dry, thin paint. Oxidation has caused minor spotting over the surface. Original top knob, good seams. The coffee pot measures 10 1/2 inches tall and 10 1/2 inches spout to handle

Early 19th.c. Signed Skewer Holder w/Skewers

This is a very nice skewer set. Circa late 18th. to early 19th. century. The skewer holder has a great aged patina, all hand forged and initialed (signed) T.S. on the center post. The set has four hand forged skewers that measure 6, 6 1/2, 7 1/4 and 7 3/4 inches. The rack measures 4 x 4 inches.

19TH c. STONEWARE LARGE YELLOWARE BANDED PITCHER

19TH CENTURY STONEWARE LARGE YELLOWARE BANDED PITCHER– This is a wonderful stoneware large yelloware banded pitcher. The pitcher has a bulbous body, footed base, applied handle and a scroll lug on the front of the pitcher to make it easier to lift the pitcher when full. The pitcher has a yelloware body with cream white, black, light blue, brownish orange bands accented on the top, middle and bottom of the pitcher. The pitcher measures approximately 8” base diameter and 11” tall. The pitcher is in very good condition for its age and use. The spout does have a chip and hairline crack. This type of pitcher is very rare, few were made with even fewer surviving today.

19TH CENTURY APOTHECARY JAR – This is a 19th century apothecary jar that has all the wonderful characteristics of old glass. This includes a high well-defined raised pontil mark. The jar measures approximately 3 5/8" smooth top mouth diameter, 5 1/2” bottom diameter and is approximately 8” tall. The jar has an old tin lid and is in excellent condition.

19TH CENTURY SPONGEWARE MASTER SALT – This is a gorgeous 19th century spongeware master salt. Spongeware master salts are a form that is harder to find. The stoneware master salt is decorated with blue spongeware covering the body and accenting the foot. The master salt measures approximately 3” top diameter, 2” tall, and 1 3/4” bottom diameter. This master salt is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, hairlines, or repairs.

19th CENTURY YELLOWARE BANDED MUSTARD POT –Circa 19th century this is a yelloware banded mustard pot. The mustard pot has beautiful form with a straight sided body, rolled rim and rolled footed base with an applied handle. The body is decorated with two incised blue bands. The mustard pot has the original matching button lid. The mustard pot measures approximately 2 3/4” in diameter and 2” tall. This mustard pot is in excellent condition the lid has a small flake chip on the rim

Graniteware Blue Washboard.

Graniteware Blue Washboard. This piece is definitely worth salvage. It is the best part of a washboard—the blue granite ware scrub surface. Can be mounted on an old piece of wood to bring it back to usefulness. The Scrub surface measures 11 x 12 inches. Very good condition.

Three Piece of Blue/White Ironstone

Three Piece of Blue/White Ironstone Three wonderful piece of flow blue, blue and white ironstone. The pattern is Clementson. The three pieces are in excellent condition. The plate measures 8 inches. The deep well saucer measures 5 1/2 inches and the cup is handless. Circa mid 19th. Century. Beautiful color and design. The deep well saucer was used as a drinking vessel. The tea would be poured from the handless cup into the saucer and that would be used for drinking.

Paint Decorated Shaving Box

This is an unusual piece, a paint decorated shaving box. The box is decorated on the top of the box and on the inside lid of the box and bar design going down the back. The inside is sectioned, one part for the shaving mug and the other part for straight edge and other tools. This box belonged to an antique dealer that I know and he told me it was his Dad’s. The box measures 12 x 5 1/4 x 4 inches.

Small Treen, Green Painted Bowl

Love this little piece. The proportions of this bowl give it the best look, small with high sides. Looks fabulous filled with berries. The paint is original, with some wear. It is an Emerald Green, quite striking. Unusual feature is the recessed bottom, deep sides and small size. The bowl measures 6 1/4 in diameter x 3 1/4 inches tall. Excellent condition. American treenware, circa late 19th. century.

Blue Bail Handled Pantry Box

blue bail pantry. A very nice mid to late 19th. century bail handled pantry box. The pantry has a nice thick lid and wonderful surface. The bail handled pantry measures 11 1/2 inches in diameter and 6 1/2 inches tall. There is a small sliver of wood missing from the lid rim.

19TH CENTURY YELLOWARE IRON

19TH CENTURY YELLOWARE IRON – This is an unusual form of yelloware decorated with Rockingham. The iron has a mottled appearance is like figurals these miniatures are difficult to find, since they are not commonly found. This has been in a collection for over 40 years. The iron is in excellent condition with a small flake chip on the bottom. The base measures 3 ½” long by 2 ½” at its widest point.

19th. c. Dough Scraper and Iron Knife Rest

Dough scraper and knife rest Two interesting pieces of iron work. The dough scraper is mid 19th. Century and in excellent condition. The knife rest is iron as well and in the shape of a barbell. Usually these rests are made of crystal, this one is pure country. The knife does come with the combo.

Best reproduction candles. Very authentic looking candles, could be mistaken as tallows. These candles have an excellent look and are inexpensive so you don’t feel guily burning them. They measure about 11 inches with hanging wick.
